WeatherWalay holds an MoU with NDMA through the Green Climate Alliance (GCA). WeatherWalay supplies weather data to NDMA and supports its Early Warning team with hazard identification and response planning.

Provincial Disaster Management Authority - KP
Core public-sector partner of WeatherWalay. Under an MoU with PDMA KP, WeatherWalay and BaKhabar Kissan jointly developed the Kabul River Early Warning System (KREWS), funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by GIZ under the NAP Challenge Fund, delivering flood early warnings across the Kabul River basin, including Nowshera and surrounding regions, alongside broader early warning initiatives, including those implemented with partners such as the World Food Programme (WFP), covering heavy rainfall, heatwaves, and other hydro-meteorological hazards.

Provincial Disaster Management Authority - Sindh
Via implementing partners WHH and CESVI, WeatherWalay developed an Integrated Decision Support System (IDSS) for PDMA Sindh, providing a multi-hazard early warning and disaster response platform for Sindh province.
PMD
Pakistan Meteorological Department
WeatherWalay has developed APIs, a portal, and an app for PMD, along with a robust business model. They also conducted a research study categorizing public versus private goods. This project was awarded to WeatherWalay as a tender and has now been extended into a partnership with PMD until June 2025.

WeatherWalay partnered with the GSMA as a downstream partner of the Bakhabar Kisaan climate adaptation grant. Furthermore, members of the WeatherWalay team separately provided technical consultancy to design SOPs for Mobile-enabled Early Warning Dissemination for NDMA Pakistan.

WFP Innovation Accelerator
Under this AFCIA funded project, WeatherWalay is developing an integrated early warning monitoring and advisory dissemination system in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with PDMA, KP and DDMA, Nowshera for climate-vulnerable communities across the district. WW will also be providing agro-meteorological advisory to the farming community in Nowshera to enhance climate resilience.
